The popular Nike Training Club app known for its extensive workout gallery complete with high-quality audio and visual guidance from experts is finally coming to the Apple Watch. The app offers over 180 free workouts from strength and endurance to mobility and yoga, featuring world-class Nike Master Trainers and elite Nike athletes.
“The resounding feedback from athletes worldwide was that they wanted us to put the best training app onto Apple Watch, and I think we’ve done it in a way that will make it an intuitive and invaluable training tool,” says Mike McCabe, Nike’s VP of Category Digital Product Innovation.
Using the Nike Training Club app, users will be able to start the workout from their iPhones and then use the Apple Watch to easily check of time or reps remaining on a drill. The app will also deliver haptic prompts to signal the beginning of the next drill and run until the workout is complete.
