“Apple is in a billion pockets, y’all,” she writes, echoing her comments from the March 2019 unveiling of the service.

“To me, that presents a magnificent opportunity to connect the world through reading,” Oprah continues. “With each announcement of a new book club selection, you’ll have a chance to buy the book, read it, and then take part in a conversation with the author about the story and the writing process.”

Oprah explains that its this very reach that will allow her to create the world’s biggest and most active book club.

“My partnership with Apple gives me a chance to take one of my most joyful experiences and spread the word,” Oprah said. “For me, the only thing more thrilling than being captivated by a brilliant book is being able to share it. Thus, our goal of building the most stimulating book club on the planet.”

Oprah will select one new book every month. Fans can then buy the book, read it and then take part in conversations with the author. Book club conversations with Oprah will be streamed on Apple TV+ which you can access on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.

Along with hey book club, Oprah will be producing documentaries for the Cupertino company’s streaming service, Apple TV+
