Apple Fixes iOS 9.0.1 Lock Screen Exploit with iOS 9.0.2 Update

Every time a new version of iOS is released, someone figures out a lock screen bug which allows access to some sort of data that should not be allowed. The hilarious part is someone figures out these bugs by performing complex Konami-code-like sequences to get access.

With today’s release of iOS 9.0.2, Apple has closed the latest iOS 9.0.1 loophole which allowed access to a user’s contacts and photos from the lock screen, as detailed in an updated security document:

If you were worried about this loophole, update to iOS 9.0.2 immediately so you can sleep better at night (disabling Siri access from the lock screen also protected users too).
