According to a new report from CBC, Pokemon Go may be drawing players to Manitoba’s Stony Mountain federal prison.
On Friday, officials told CBC that corrections officials were issued bulletins to make them aware of the game. There are concerns that players may be trespassing because some of the prisons landmarks are marked as PokeStops.
Officials are reminding people that the correctional centre is private property and any unauthorized entry is trespassing. This serves as a reminder for Pokemon Go players to stay safe when playing the game. A police officer in Regina recently published a list of safety tips for Pokemon Go players, which you can check out from this link.
