Apple Adds ProRes, ProRaw Support to iCloud for Windows App

Apple has updated its iCloud for Windows app that adds support for Apple ProRes videos and Apple ProRaw photos.

As reported by MacRumors, Apple has released iCloud for Windows 13 with some notable updates. The latest update brings support for ProRes video as well as ProRAW photos. It also now supports strong password generation with the iCloud Passwords app.

Back in August, the iCloud Utility for Windows was updated with a password manager, so that users could access their saved credentials not only from Apple devices but also from Windows PCs. Now this experience has been taken even further with an option to generate strong passwords that can be used by apps or websites, just like in macOS and iOS.

According to Apple’s support document for the update, iCloud for Windows 13 also addresses several security vulnerabilities.

Apple’s iCloud for Windows app allows Microsoft computer users to get access to data stored in iCloud, including iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, Calendar, Mail, and Contacts.

The latest update comes after the company released iCloud for Windows 12.5 back in August. Users can download or update to iCloud for Windows 13 on the Microsoft Store or through the Apple Support website now.
