Samsung Accidentally Confirms Galaxy Buds Pro via Website Listing

Samsung Canada has accidentally confirmed the existence of the company’s Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds by releasing a listing on its website before quickly removing the page.

The unannounced high-end earbuds from Samsung have not quite been a well-kept secret. Leaks and rumours have poured out regarding the new earbuds. Though, Samsung has held back on officially revealing the device. However, as first spotted by SamMobile, Samsung Canada accidentally listed the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds, confirming the name as well as the model number (SM-R190).

The listing itself is rather light. Samsung Canada has since removed the listing from the website. No specs were revealed nor any official photos of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

A couple of wee ago, leaker WalkingCat revealed slides that detailed a few major features of the earbuds as well as the pricing model. According to the leak, the Galaxy Buds Pro will cost $199USD (approx. $256CAD). Additionally, the earbuds are said to have active noise cancellation, a water resistance rating of IPX7 and up to 28 hours of battery life with the case. Bluetooth 5.1 with LE, 3D spatial audio, Ambient Mode, and Conversation Mode have all been rumoured to be featured within the earbuds as well.

Samsung has already been teasing the reveal of its Galaxy S21 phone. Plus, a Samsung Unpacked event will be held right after CES on January 14th where the company will likely announce the phone as well as the Galaxy Buds Pro.
