
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, movie studios are releasing films on digital earlier than expected, as people avoid movie theatres. The latest digital release coming soon is the Sonic The Hedgehog movie, set to release March 31 in Canada and beyond.
Sonic The Hedgehog stars iconic Canadian comedian Jim Carrey and hit theatres back in mid-February. Now, it’s slated for an early digital release on platforms such as Apple’s iTunes on March 31, plus for those seeking a Blu-ray copy.
According to iTunes Canada, Sonic The Hedgehog is available for pre-order at $24.99 CAD. The movie has a 64% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Other movies seeing an early digital release date include Pixar’s Onward, set to release on March 22, 2020.
