Last year, Subway announced it would launch a new MyWay rewards program and as of today, it has officially debuted across Canada.
Customers can sign up for the program via the Subway iPhone app or in-store and can earn rewards no matter how they pay.
For every dollar spent, customers gain 4 tokens. Once 200 tokens are reached, they get a $2.00 reward, which can be redeemed towards any menu item. The 200 token threshold equates to $50 in spending, which then nets you $2 off, or 4%.
Subway Chief Digital Officer Carissa Ganelli told iPhone in Canada in an issued statement, “The Subway MyWay Rewards program is just one part of Subway® Digital’s work to transform our guest experience through an omnichannel approach, with the integration of the app and remote ordering.”
Subways also says the program has “surprise rewards” and also a “birthday surprise” for customers as well.
To push the new MyWay rewards program, Subway will have interactive arcade zones in select malls in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver this month and in March, to let customers earn tokens, by playing a new game called Hungry Hannah. The new game will also be online starting February 22, 2019.
The Subway MyWay rewards program was first announced a year ago, but did not launch nationwide in Canada as expected, until today.
