TD Bank Group (TD) has announced the launch of a new digital mortgage application, which it is calling an “integrated, digital solution created to make the process of buying a home easier and more convenient for customers.”
According to TD, Canadians can use the digital mortgage application from any device, while features include 24/7 access, save and resume, status tracking, and document upload.
“We continue to build solutions that provide personalized, connected experiences in the homebuying process,” said Pat Giles, Vice President, Real Estate Secured Lending at TD, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. “Buying a home is a huge financial milestone for Canadians, and our goal is to make that process easier and more convenient to make home ownership dreams a reality.”
Those applying for the digital mortgage need to have info and documents ready about their employment, income, assets, liabilities and their new home.
The new digital mortgage application adds to the bank’s digital tools, including the TD Digital Mortgage Pre-Approval and TD Mortgage Affordability Calculator.
Earlier this month, TD Canada’s iOS app launched ‘TD Clari’, the bank’s new digital assistant chatbot.
