The Original 1984 Macintosh Recreated with LEGOs and an iPad [Video]

The original Macintosh was first announced by Steve Jobs on January 24, 1984. A 30-second stop-motion video, posted on Vimeo by Jason Kinsella and Charlotte Bakken, shows them recreating the desktop computer using LEGO bricks and an iPad.

According to the comment posted with the original video description on Vimeo:

This project is testament to how a brand can sometimes move in a full circle. Kinsella and Bakken (both big fans of LEGO) recreated a scale model of the 1984 classic, Apple Macintosh. Then with a few simple adjustments to the design, they were able to incorporate the Apple iPad into the design. The result; a super cool looking place to dock the iPad, read the newspaper, or watch a film.

The end result must have taken a while to build, but it looks very impressive.
