Apple has built Watch shops around the world, which will all open tomorrow, when the company starts taking pre-orders in nine countries. The “stores-within-stores” are located in high-end department stores: Selfridges in London, Galeries Lafayette in Paris, and Isetan in Tokyo.

The first Apple Watch press reviews hit the Web yesterday, so if you are eyeing one (or two?), you’ll have plenty of posts to read through. The consensus of the (mixed) reviews is that Apple has managed to raise the bar a long way with the Apple Watch, so you’ll have the best device available on the market. For now, the Watch seems to be the device of pioneers, as it is still searching for a spot in a market that has yet to find its niche.
