Uber Toronto has launched a summer promo where both you and a friend can earn $20. If you refer a friend to the taxi service, you’ll earn $20 and so will they. The promo only is valid if your friend is trying out Uber for the first time.
All you are encouraged to do is refer your friends with your personal invite code found within the Uber iOS app. Normally this referral credit is only $10 but it’s doubled up for the summer.
1. Refer friends with your personal invite code.
2. Friends receive $20 of Uber CAD credit toward their first ride when they sign up with your invite code.
3. You receive $20 of Uber CAD credit for every friend that takes a ride!
Back in May, Uber launched a new ‘UberBoat’ taxi service in Muskoka for the weekend and earlier this month revealed Vancouver was the only city they’ve had to back out of.
Click here to download the Uber iOS app—it’s free. Any frequent users of Uber out there? How do you like the service versus traditional taxis?
