Walmart Canada has today announced the launch of its online grocery delivery service in Montreal, Quebec, allowing customers to order fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood and dairy, as well as health and beauty products, household goods, pet food, baby food, diapers, and more.
Walmart’s online grocery delivery carries a flat $9.97 delivery fee to customers’ doors with a $50 minimum grocery order before taxes. Customers can place their orders online at walmart.ca/grocery or simply via the Walmart app. Groceries can be delivered to customers as early as the very next day or up to 21 days in advance.
In addition to the new delivery option, Walmart Canada customers can choose grocery pickup at 10 Montreal-area Walmart stores, shopping in-store for fresh produce and grocery, and in-store and online for general merchandise:
“Introducing grocery delivery to Montreal brings more time-saving ways to shop at Walmart to even more Canadians,” said Daryl Porter, Vice-President Omni-channel and eCommerce. “Whether our customers choose to shop in-store, online, pick up or have their groceries delivered, we want to make Walmart the easiest and most convenient place to shop for everything they need.”
Walmart is also offering a launch promotion to “Save $20 on each of your first 4 deliveries for orders over $75 before taxes” with promo code MONTREAL80. The promo code is valid until November 30, 2019.
