How to Watch Today’s PlayStation State of Play and What to Expect

Sony is set to hold another installment of its PlayStation State of Play live stream this evening. Fans and PlayStation console owners can look forward to the company making a slew of new announcements and updates on upcoming titles. Here’s how you can tune in and what to expect.

Sid Shuman, Senior Director at SIE Content Communications, announced the next State of Play show would be held today, Oct. 27 at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. In a PlayStation Blog post, Shuman went on to say that the live stream would have a duration of around “20 minutes or so.”
In addition, Shuman set expectations of the show by saying the today’s State of Play would be focused on “upcoming third-party releases headed to PS5 and PS4.” This means that unfortunately, we will not be seeing the likes of Horizon: Forbidden West or God of War: Ragnarok. Instead, we’ll be treated to updates on third-party titles with a “plus a few reveals”.
Sony has been pretty quiet on which studios and games will be in attendance during the show. However, one game that PlayStation’s Twitter account did not will be there is Little Devil Inside, by Neostream Interactive.

Aside from Little Devil Inside, perhaps this State of Play is an opportunity for Square Enix to show more Forspoken and Final Fantasy Origins. Tango Gameworks may provide more updates to Ghostwire: Tokyo. BlueTwelve Studio’s Stray could also make an appearance.

We’ll know soon enough during this evening’s live stream. To not miss a moment, you can watch the PlayStation State of Play on the PlayStation Twitch channel or YouTube.
