What’s New in iOS 12 Beta 9 [VIDEO]

Apple released iOS 12 beta 9 for developers yesterday, and released the same version for Public beta testers (iOS 12 Public beta 7).

After installing iOS 12 beta 9, there was nearly 3GB of storage returned compared to beta 8, while performance continues to improve—especially on older devices.

The iPhone X is seeing some of the highest Geekbench scores, with one score being 10671 on multi-core.

For those with an iPhone 6s, when the app switcher is empty, double-tapping the Home button will now result in taptic feedback.

Also, a lag within the wallpaper screen has been fixed, while the trackpad feature on non-3D Touch devices now works again.

For Apple Maps, traffic data again works, while the Stocks and Messages apps have gained some new splash screens.

Apple is expected to hold a special event to announce new iPhone models in September, and also release the final version of iOS 12 for the public.
