If you’re looking to buy Anker’s PowerCore Magnetic 5K Wireless Power Bank in Canada, you’ll be able to do so in late March, confirmed a company spokesperson to iPhone in Canada.
The PowerCore Magnetic 5K Wireless Power Bank (currently available on Amazon USA) attaches to the back of any iPhone 12 lineup model to wirelessly charge your phone. It’s an accessory that’s about convenience as no cords are required to charge your new iPhone.
Anker told iPhone in Canada earlier this week the PowerCore Magnetic 5K Wireless Power Bank will cost $50 CAD “as of right now”, but that may change, along with the device’s late-March launch timeline here. The power banks costs $39.99 USD.
While official Apple MagSafe-certified products can charge an iPhone at 15W, the PowerCore is can only charge at a slower 5W. The product looks to beat Apple’s rumoured wireless power bank to market.
