If you are a fan of sci-fi, Eveningstar is a fantastic accumulation of sci-fi shooters in one iPhone game package.

Eveningstar features nine unique levels that are packed with challenging enemies and puzzles. Not only is the game filled with action, but Eveningstar is very much a game of skill. However, the levels are rather short and the nine can be completely quite quickly.
Weapons are simple but powerful, as the main ship includes one firing cannon. However there are many upgrades that include devasting weapons to clear enemies.
More uniquely is the “eveningstar” weapon that uses amazingly accurate physics and adds a very fun and innovative element to game play. This weapon is essentially a secondary weapon that is always around the outside of the ship and does some serious damage.
Controls & Navigation 2/2
There is not much to the controls as Eveningstar is one of these games in which the environment is always moving forward. In that respect, controls are very easy to master with finger taps to move left, right or backward.
Players have a realistic interaction with the environment, especially with the “eveningstar” weapon, and this further adds to the fun of the game.
Further, the app includes a toggle for a left or right fire button in case players have a preference.
Sounds & Visuals 1/1
Eveningstar includes a great set of sounds and visuals that immersive players in the game play. The play view is a top-down shooter, which is a good view for this type of game.
The game menu includes on/off toggles for music and sound effects for players that want them off. However turning them off will lessen the game play experience.
