Review: Reeder 2.0

Silvio Rizzi, creator of Reeder 2.0 for the iPhone, recently sent me a copy of Reeder to test drive.

Until now, the best RSS reader on my iPhone was the Google Reader Web App, despite having tried a dozen or so RSS Readers I downloaded from the App Store.

Reeder 2.0 by Silvio Rizzi has completley exceeded my expectations when it comes to RSS and the iPhone. Reeder seamlessly allows you to sync your Google Reader account and the interface is layed out perfectly.

Silvio has incorporated all the features you have with Google Reader plus a few extras.

If you’re using Google Reader as a web app, I strongly recommend spending the $2.99 for a copy of Reeder.

My only hope is that he decides to release an iPad version as well… Hopefully before the end of April. I’d hate to bring it home and have to revert back to web apps. 😉
