New Tesla Cybertruck vs Ford F-150 Tug O’ War Clip Shared as Orders Hit 200,000 [u]

Update: Now 200,000 and counting says Musk.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has shared a new clip of its latest Cybertruck pickup taking on Ford’s F-150 in a game of tug o’ war, showing behind the scenes footage of the original video from last week’s unveiling.

During the Tesla Cybertruck event, Musk showed how the new electric pickup beat a Porsche 911 in a race (even giving the 911 a “head start”), then also crushing a Ford F-150 in a tug ‘o war, which the CEO emphatically claimed afterwards it took place uphill.

Now, in a clip shared on Twitter, we get a behind the scenes look at the production of the tug o’ war battle between the Cybertruck and Ford F-150. We don’t know what model Ford the Cybertruck is going against, but it doesn’t look good.

Check it out the video below in the embedded tweet:

Also, after sharing yesterday Cybertruck orders had reached 146,000, Musk today tweeted an update to say orders have now hit 187,000. The first Cybertruck orders aren’t expected to hit production until late 2021 and base models are expected to cost around $53,000 CAD in Canada.
