For all those Mac fanboys out there, this coming Tuesday, January 15th will mark an exciting day–Macworld 2008. This is the day where Steve Jobs makes his annual announcement on the latest Apple products and services. Remember last year? It was the iPhone! Anyways, rumors are abuzz on every tech site about what could possibly be announced on Tuesday.

For us Canadians up in the Great White North, sometimes these Macworld updates seem to be delayed when it comes to us. Think of the current iPhone situation! It’s just crazy that Canada does not have the iPhone yet, whereas parts of Europe have theirs already. Maybe this Tuesday is the day that the iPhone will be coming to Canada? It could be a possibility, given that Steve Jobs is known for keeping his newest products and updates a guarded secret until the day of.

There have been reports that 1.1.3 firmware will be announced as well, so we will definitely have to keep an eye on that. As you may be aware, the release of the next firmware is just what is needed for the 1.1.2 software unlock to complete and be released. That’s what we know anyways.

Until we officially find out what is going to happen on Tuesday, for those Canadians out there that want an iPhone, your best bet still is to check out my suggestions on how to buy one. Listen, if you can’t wait any longer, you can always fold your own iPhone here. 😉
