WildCharge Pad for iPhone Review

Are you tired of plugging in your USB cable to charge your iPhone? Tired to lining up the dock to the base of your iPhone? If you’re truly lazy and want an easy and interesting solution, the folks at Pure Energy Solutions have come up with the WildCharge. This charging solution brings wire-free charging to the iPhone and iPod Touch (and other devices too).

WildCharge Bundle: Pad and Skin for iPhone 2G/3G/3GS

Here’s the nuts and bolts on how this system works:

1. Slap silicone cover onto iPhone. Tiny metal contacts are on the back of the silicone cover.
2. Place iPhone on its back onto the WildCharge pad. iPhone starts charging.
3. Lift up iPhone and charging will stop. Place down and charging continues. Easy right?

So Is the WildCharge Bundle for iPhone Worth It?

The WildCharge solution is absolutly perfect if your desk is tangled because of all the devices you’re charging. By implementing the WildCharge solution for your other devices, it can result in a stress-free charging experience. All you have to do is place your device down on pad and walk away. Three conduct modules on the back of the silicone case connect with the pad and instantly your iPhone starts charging–cool!

With that being said, there are some issues to consider. The silicone case on the iPhone (which fits perfectly over a full body invisibleSHIELD application by the way) has a closed connector on the bottom. That means if you need to sync your iPhone, you will be required to remove the case every time to plug. Some may find this a bit annoying.

The cost of the WildCharge/iPhone bundle is $79.99US. This is a premium price to take advantage of conductive charging. If you have the money to spend then this could be the solution for you. As for the rest of us, how hard is it to plug your iPhone into an Apple dock? Takes about the same amount of time, right?

The WildCharge is a great product that works exactly as advertised. It’s definitely a high end product that will make for easy charging, if you’re willing to shell out the cash for it.

Cool. But it reads more like an ad than a review. ;-)

I was looking @ Powermat Home and Office Wireless Charging Mat over the Christmas holidays as it was on sale at Future Shop and London Drugs. Its like the same thing, wireless charging any device.

I thought about it and then said its much easier to just plug the device into a cable and still be able to use it while charger. Where as if u use the mat, its gonna take some time to pull my case off, switch with there case and then drop on mat. Then not being able to pick it up if u want to use while let it charge.

So I just saved my self the $100 LOL

Cool idea though. I'd prob buy if I had some cash to play around with.
