OnePlus Watch 3 Now Available in Canada for $449

The OnePlus Watch 3 is officially available in Canada, the US, and Europe. The brand-new 47mm OnePlus wearable is available to preorder in Canada for $449 and comes with an upgraded 631mAh battery.
As announced by OnePlus, the new OnePlus Watch 3 supports two chipsets. The first is the Snapdragon W5 performance chip and the new BES2800 MCU Efficiency processor. As explained by the company, using the wearable’s Dual-Engine Architecture, OnePlus ensures a balance between battery life and intelligent functionality. Leveraging the BES2800 MCU chip, OnePlus believes it can improve power efficiency. OnePlus Watch 3 is also confirmed to run Wear OS 5, which should help support the battery’s longevity.
With an upgrade to a 631mAh battery, the OnePlus Watch 3 offers a better core battery over the 500mAh of the OnePlus Watch 2. According to the company, the OnePlus Watch 3 supports 16-day use in power save mode. Alternatively, when using smart mode, the device can offer a supposed 5-day use with up to 120 hours of support. OnePlus also utilizes a blazing-fast 10-minute charge system.
From a design perspective, OnePlus Watch 3 features a 1.5-inch LTPO display, a marginal increase from the 1.4-inch display of its predecessor. It’s also said to be brighter, supporting 2,200 nits. Bezels appear to be slightly smaller, largely because of the design changes being made. The watch’s display also supports the ability to upload your own video clips.
The OnePlus Watch 3 retains the use of a stainless steel case. However, the bezel is now made of a titanium alloy. While tweaked to ideally make it more durable, it also changes the aesthetic of the watch. Albeit only slightly. That all being said, OnePlus Watch 3 finally adds a rotating crown. This can be used to scroll and navigate screens. OnePlus has also added haptic support, adding to navigation.
OnePlus Watch 3 is available in both ‘Emerald Titanium’ and ‘Obsidian Titanium’. To preorder, take a look at OnePlus’ official website. As of the time of writing, you can use code TIME1010 to save $50 in Canada.
