Telus to Launch AppleCare+ for the iPhone for $99 on April 16th

Just last month Apple launched AppleCare+ in Canada when the new iPad debuted, and now Telus will be offering the service to its customers on April 16th for $99.

AppleCare+ will extend your factory iPhone warranty from 1 to 2 years, and phone support from 90 days to two years. Hardware coverage includes your iPhone, in-box accessories, battery (with depletion of 50% from original specification), and two incidents of accidental damage for a $49 fee each time.

AppleCare+ is a boxless product and once purchased from Telus, your IMEI will be entered into their Telus AppleCare+ site and then a receipt will be given to you as proof. It will be available for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S at the time of purchase. Refreshed iPhones are not applicable.
