Retina iPad mini shipping times have slipped to 5-10 business days in Canada and the USA on Apple’s online store. Previously, they estimates were at 1-3 business days for 16GB and 32GB models but now everything across the board shows 5-10 days.
…and in the USA:
Apple usually ramps up its production leading up the holidays so it’s unusual to see these times slip, but earlier today various carriers in the USA started carrying the model and so did TELUS here in Canada.
The iPad Air is showing shipping times of 5-7 days in both countries. Expect all shipping times to improve as we approach the highly anticipated Black Friday shopping period next week.

That’s 5-10 Business days btw. I finally caved and ordered one online a couple of nights ago – ETA mid Dec!! But I thought I would keep checking the Apple reservation site and sure enough the one I wanted was showing available this morning. So I reserved it, drove down to Burlington later in the day and picked it up. Next to shopping from home, easiest shopping experience. Beats waiting till just before Christmas.
Amazon nail clipper now 4-6 days, previously 1-3 days. I will keep an eye on this and post updates every hour on the hour.
