Student Developers: Apply Now for 1 of 150 WWDC Student Scholarships

Earlier this morning Apple announced the dates for WWDC 2012 for June 11-15. Tickets sold out in under two hours! The only hope to get a ticket now is if you’re a student developer. How? Apple this year has introduced WWDC Student Scholarships for those 13 and older, and are at least part-time students.

If you’re a student that’s creating some really cool apps, tell us about yourself. We want to reward outstanding student developers with the opportunity to attend this year’s conference on a WWDC 2012 Student Scholarship.

The application process requires students to answer why they should be awarded the WWDC scholarship, what their development experience is, years spent developing, current iOS apps, what school they attend and also to incude contact info for a dean or principal so Apple can mail them a hard copy of the award notification. Students aged 13-17 require the name of a legal guardian.

The application deadline is May 2, 2012, and 150 scholarships will be given out. Any student readers out there applying?
