Oh my gosh! I have a really cool app in mind and this workshop will definitely help me develop my idea. Pick me! 🙂

  • 80Mike

I've wanted to go to WWDC for a long time and I think this would be a great opportunity to go to an event where you can learn from other developers and obtain skills to build iPhone/iPad applications.

I really hope I win passes because I've been wanting to build apps for a while now. I hope you pick me 🙂

  • Happy

Wow, that's a great offer. Normally I'm on the road and have the flexibility to take advantage of something like this. I wish I had the time available.
I'm impressed that you'd make this available to readers.

  • I should add that we are small enough that the company would not be able to afford to send me otherwise.

  • Gregoryp

I'm developer who is working on apps for the iPhone/iPad that will help diabetics to better manage their diabetes. Ultimately, the app would enable the patient to have the data available and to be a able to show/transmit the is data to their health care provider securely. I won't be charging for this app so it won't be for profit. If any revenue was to come it would be donated to the Diabetes Association.
I would love to go but there is no way I could afford the trip, the stay and the admission fee. Free admission would make it possible.

Upcoming layoffs of my employer may mean that this is the road to a new job!

  • I have been a developer for many years and have always loved the apple dev tools. Would love to get involved in iPhone dev.

  • xxJDxx

Just getting into the developing game and would love to learn more and see what other people are working on!

  • pj104

Would love a chance to be in the same place with the best in the business at the iPhone/iPad DevCon.

  • I am a computer application developer by profession, but my day job doesn't allow me to develop applications
anywhere as fun or interesting as those on the iphone / ipad, so I do this in my spare time. Despite working
full-time and being a mother to two young children, I have developed 3 iphone apps and 1 ipad app to date,
which are available on the app store. You can see them at As an independent,
individual developing iphone apps, what little revenue I get from app sales doesn't come close to covering my
costs (developer license, hardware, books on iOS development), so a free full access pass to iPhone/iPad
DevCon would make possible something I couldn't afford otherwise.

I'd love to go to the conference to learn more about iOS development. I have found that learning the iPhone / iPad
SDK only gets you so far in app development, a lot of tips and techniques can be learned from other developers
and the iPhone / iPad DevCon conference looks like a tremendous opportunity for this. Looking at the conference
catalog, I think my app development would benefit greatly from attending the sessions. I would very much appreciate it if you considered me for one of the free conference passes. Thank you for this generous offer!

  • Jeff

I have just begun developing on the iOS platform due to the iPad's launch. My first app was published at the end of July. I'm loving it so far and now feel the need to go in-depth on the platform and learn from the masters.

With my wife returning to college this year the ability to pay for expensive conferences is no longer within my reach so the free pass would make all the world in my ability to attend.

  • Fabio

As a personal project, I'm designing a business productivity application for the iPad. Unfortunately, due to workload, I don't get much of the necessary time to *study* and *network* with other mobile developers *and* this conference would be the perfect opportunity to catch-up quickly on both aspects. You give me the full pass for the conference (thank you!) and I'll do my best to gather funds (there goes my savings!) for the flight tickets and hotel. Also, that would be the only way to convince my employer that I would be absent from work for a week (there goes my vacation days!). See you in San Diego (do I?). Cheers, Fabio.

  • Larry IPAD

Attending the conference will give me exposure ot the opportunities to develop APPS.

  • Joshua.Cole19

This event sounds amazing! As a new iPhone developer working full time on my mobile dream I would love to attend this event simply for the sheer ability to expand my horizons, learn bleeding-edge concepts, and connect with others who have similar interests. This opportunity should not be passed up by anyone and if I somehow get a chance to attend I shall be taking full advantage of everything the DevCon has to offer!

  • I just started last week with a mobile development group here at work. We are doing some cross platform work on all the major platforms iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc. This conference would really help me come up to speed on iPhone and iPad development. We currently have a travel freeze on at work but I would pay my own way if I could get into this conference.

  • Johnny

I have been developing mobile application for BlackBerry and Android OS in School District No.43 Coquitlam, BC. Since the district has a tight budget, this free pass will definitely assist me getting to the venue and learn the design technique as a mobile application developer. The new application will in turn benefit the students, parents, staff and community.

  • anthony

I began iPhone development starting this year. This expo will speed up my learning curve to jump on the new wave. It is hard to find time & effort to jump into mobile coding industry whereas I am in the Main Frame environment. This show will def. will boost my learning knowledge.

  • Shane

I want to cover the event to get a start in tech journalism and of course to see some awesome devs.

  • A & J

Attending this conference will directly help launch our iPhone app idea. As with most inventions, ours has started with an idea but the knowledge of how to take the next appropriate steps is lacking. Attending this conference will prove to be invaluable.

  • Mtsuchitani

Attending the conference will help me get a leg up on developing the iPhone apps we have envisioned for supporting teaching and learning at Stanford University.

  • Derrick Montenegro

My construction company has tasked me to develop an application for field use, and to distribute and sale to other construction companies. This would be a great development tool to fully understand how to distriubte and develop for enterprise application for the ipad. This is not a fly by night ap store download, but a full integrated system to manage from the field.
