Help Police Identify iPhone Thieves In This Surveillance Camera Footage [Video]

Seattle Police is seeking help in arresting this team of thieves, who grabbed an iPhone on March 18 at Sixth Avenue and Pine Street and was caught in the act by surveillance cameras (via SeattlePi).

According to the Police, the lookouts were a young man wearing a black sweatshirt and baseball cap and a man who is holding up his pants and wearing a blue T-shirt. A third young man then sprints by the victim outside Nordstrom and steals her iPhone.

Take a look at the video below and if you recognize any of the suspects, call detectives at 206-684-5535.

I totally get the goodwill behind this post….and don’t want to state the obvious…However, this site is “IphoneInCanada” – I don’t think too many folks who visit this site are a) from Seattle and can identify the theifs or b) from Canada and can identify Seattle thiefs….

1. the US stolen phone database probably doesn’t apply for the big three???????????? here in Canada so any ebay purchased phone could be activated.

2. It’s a prime example of how people should be thinking about there property—-

if you do not want the chance of your electronics being swiped dont ever flash it around on a street, on a bus, in a mall where there are people you do not know in close proximity….

easy two reasons-

1. the US stolen phone database probably doesn’t apply for the big three???????????? here in Canada so any ebay purchased phone could be activated.

2. It’s a prime example of how people should be thinking about there property—-

if you do not want the chance of your electronics being swiped dont ever flash it around on a street, on a bus, in a mall where there are people you do not know in close proximity….

No problem, Apple will issue a refund or a replacement iPhone, all they need is solid evidence as demonstrated in this video clip
