You can buy this for $0.99 on ebay, shipped free from China. Shame on you Gary for the useless articles and deals on your site now.

personally I have no problem with these deals and supporting gary and the site. its better knowing they are legit with stack social versus shady ebay sellers. if you don’t like the deals ignore ’em and stop being a cry baby. other sites have similar deals too, i see no problem wit them.

So are you telling me this is a genuine Apple product? No, it is not. They are identical to the ones on Ebay. Someone at Stack Social is selling the $0.99 ones for $19. When Gary started this website, he had unbiased articles. Now he is getting financial support from Rogers, Telus, and the likes by putting promotional material on his website. I don’t like the fact that he points users to an overpriced camera connection kit with at 2000% mark-up just so he can bring in a few bucks. Why doesn’t he point the reader to the one on ebay and tell them to donate him the $10 he makes off Stack Social. That way, the reader saves $8.

Good morning Ed

These days it is very difficult to monetize a blog or web site. I think Gary is still doing a great job of collecting and publishing information from many sources that I know nothing about and don’t care to spend hours a day researching. I also read the comments from people like you who round out the information available on a particular subject. I understand that putting this posting in the body of the blog could be a concern but it was only one post of 12 today and he did a fair job of indicating that it was a link to “Our Deals Store”.

btw I’m also not offended when he posts a “contest” from Rogers, Telus and the likes and usually will try to get a freebe that way:)

This allows users to transfer images from memory cards directly to the iPad.

The first thing that came to mind after going this product’s description was “a perfect photo device!” so a big selling point of it was the ability to download my photos to the iPad on-location, edit them and upload them something I usually can’t do while out taking photos or on vacation.

I loved the product and purchased it even though allot of people said that they are not worth buying. Mine has worked just fine and have had no problems with it. I had my
fingers crossed that it would work and I wish everyone else that
purchased it had worked also….so its up to you if you want to take the
chance and get it, that’s what I did !!
