Get Access To 43 Gorgeous Wallpapers Hidden In OS X Mavericks
With the release of OS X Mavericks, Apple has hidden away a bunch of gorgeous, high resolution wallpapers in a secret location, which are actually intended to be used for default OS X screen savers. Luckily, Lifehacker has shown us how to access these 43 beautiful wallpapers for use as background images on your Mac desktop. Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1:
Press Command+Shift+G from your desktop to bring up the “Go to Folder” menu.
Step 2:
Now type in: /Library/Screen Savers/Default Collections/
Step 3:
This will open the folder where the high resolution Mavericks screen saver wallpapers are located. Simply copy them all and save elsewhere to use them as desktop wallpapers.
Enjoy!

Doesn’t work. Says the folder can’t be found.
Put a slash before Library and it will work.
Oops, missed the slash initially (my bad)…added now 🙂
Old. This at least existed back to Lion.
Also, I believe that retina displays for coming to the Mac desktop. Mavericks includes wallpapers double the size of my 27-in iMac: 5120×2880!!!
Don’t really get why I got a vote down, but, hey, can’t please everyone! 😀
these are not new to Mavericks. I have had these since Mountain Lion
They’re not “Hidden” they’re used in the National Geographic screensaver…
