Samsung C5 Shamelessly Rips Off the iPhone 6s [PICS]
We can curse Samsung as much as we want but there’s really no stopping the South Korean-copycat giant, as the company has once again shamelessly ripped off Apple’s flagship iPhone design with its new C5 smartphone. As you can see in the photos below, the device is pretty much a photocopy of the iPhone 6/6s design (via The Huffington Post).
Needless to discuss what the company has tried to achieve here, the smartphone has been launched along with a fancier C7 smartphone. Both handsets are currently being sold exclusively in China, the largest smartphone market in the world, where Samsung has so far failed to make an impact with Xiaomi, Huawei and Apple leading the charge.

Which looks pretty damn similar to the HTC One (m7) that predates the iPhone going to that style?
Everything is a remix.
The antenna lines match the M7/M8/M9, and camera lens match the M9 (but not the M7/M8), but the back matches the flat back, rounded edges, edge-to-edge cover glass, and rounded home button with fingerprint reader of the iPhone 6/6S.
So it matches both phones, but matches the iPhone line more than the M line.

Check out the countless monstrosities that came out between 2005 and 2009. There are *plenty* of ways to design a rectangular smartphone.
maybe so, but its still kinda funny how they move in lock step for slightly more arbitrary things like chamfered edges, rounded edges, placement of antenna bands, etc. and everyone is guilty of it. we’ll see what happens in a year when rumours pick up of apple doing more of a galaxy edge design.
