Skip Celebrates ‘Skip to the Good Part’ Rebranding with Free Meal Vouchers
Skip has just announced an exciting new brand identity with the campaign “Skip to the good part,” a refreshed approach aimed at simplifying daily life for Canadians.

With this new positioning, Skip is promising to help people bypass the inconveniences of daily routines, delivering what they need from restaurants, grocery stores, and retail shops directly to their doorsteps.
To mark this milestone, Skip is giving away thousands of free meals to Canadians as part of a nationwide celebration
As part of its rebranding, Skip has dropped “The Dishes” from its name, reflecting its broader scope of offerings. Beyond restaurant deliveries, Skip now delivers groceries, convenience items, and retail goods, offering more than just food deliveries.
The brand refresh is also visible in Skip’s new logo, which features a maple leaf—a nod to the company’s Canadian heritage. The updated design can now be seen on the Skip app and website, symbolizing the company’s deep-rooted connection to the Canadian community.
To further reinforce its new identity, Skip is launching a fresh TV and digital advertising campaign featuring actor Jon Hamm, who has been affectionately dubbed an “honorary Canadian.”
In these new ad spots, Hamm humorously portrays scenarios where people could have skipped out on life’s annoyances and gone straight to enjoying the good moments, reinforcing the message behind Skip’s new brand positioning.

To celebrate its rebranding, Skip is offering a day filled with exciting giveaways on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Thousands of Canadians will have the chance to “skip to the good part” with surprise voucher codes dropped throughout the day. These codes will allow users to enjoy free meals and discounts on their orders.
Some of the offers include:
- $20 off breakfast using the voucher code BREAKFAST between 7 AM and 10 AM—perfect for anyone who left their coffee or breakfast behind in the morning rush.
- $25 off lunch with the voucher code LUNCH between 12 PM and 3 PM—ideal for upgrading that sad bagged lunch to a delicious restaurant meal.
- $40 off dinner using the code DINNER from 6 PM to 9 PM—giving users the chance to avoid kitchen prep and enjoy a tasty meal delivered to their door.
- $25 off late-night snacks with the code SNACKS from 9 PM to 12 AM—satisfying those late-night cravings with convenience store items or snacks from local spots.
In addition to the online giveaways, Skip will also be making a splash in Toronto. On October 24, a “Skip to the good part” cart will be stationed at popular locations like Toronto Metropolitan University and Union Station, offering tasty treats from local restaurants and exclusive voucher codes to passersby.
