Microsoft Copilot Vision Preview Brings AI-Powered Browsing
Microsoft has just unveiled Copilot Vision, a new feature designed to make browsing more interactive by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into your web experience.

The innovative new tool, now available in preview for select Copilot Pro subscribers, brings an AI companion that can analyze, interpret, and assist with web content as you navigate.
Copilot Vision is an AI tool integrated into Microsoft Edge, designed to enhance your browsing experience by understanding the context of the web pages you’re visiting. When enabled, it serves as a virtual assistant, offering insights, suggestions, and personalized help based on what’s displayed on your screen.
Whether planning a day out, shopping online, or learning new skills, Vision transforms passive browsing into an interactive experience.
Key Features of Copilot Vision
- Real-Time Contextual Assistance: Copilot Vision reads and interprets web pages in real time. Users can engage in a conversational way to ask for insights, guidance, or even clarification about on-screen content.
- Seamless Integration with Microsoft Edge: Tucked neatly at the bottom of the browser, Vision is designed for simplicity and accessibility. Users can summon it when needed to interact with their current browsing content.
- Enhanced Privacy Controls: Vision is entirely opt-in, ensuring users have full control over when and how it operates. Each session deletes all contextual data once it ends, adhering strictly to Microsoft’s privacy policies. Only Copilot’s responses are retained to refine safety protocols.
- Limited Website Compatibility During Preview: Currently, Vision interacts with a select number of websites as Microsoft gathers feedback to refine the feature. The gradual rollout ensures safety, usability, and respect for publishers’ content.

Copilot Vision is currently available in preview for a limited group of Copilot Pro subscribers in the United States via Copilot Labs. Microsoft plans to gradually expand access to more users and additional websites, guided by user feedback and iterative improvements.
