Fubo Locks In Premier League Rights in Canada Through 2028

Fubo has secured a new multi-year deal to keep the Premier League—England’s top soccer league—exclusively on its streaming platform in Canada through the 2025-26 season and beyond.
The agreement ensures that all 380 matches, along with extra coverage, will continue to stream live on Fubo, said the company on Thursday.
While terms of the renewal weren’t disclosed, Fubo first landed exclusive rights ahead of the 2022-23 season in Canada. In addition to the Premier League, Fubo also has exclusive Canadian rights to Italy’s Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana, and streams matches from Ligue 1, Copa Libertadores, the Canadian Premier League, and the men’s and women’s national teams.
“We are delighted that Fubo has extended its partnership for another three years, recognising the Premier League as a key part of its programming,” said Paul Molnar, chief media officer at the Premier League, in a statement.
Fubo subscribers in Canada can also access major sports content from leagues like the NHL, NBA, MLB, and cricket’s IPL, with programming available across more than 100 live channels.
“The Premier League is considered the most prestigious soccer league globally and we are proud to remain the exclusive home of this elite competition in Canada,” said Ben Grad, senior vice president, strategic partnerships and operations, Fubo, in a statement to iPhone in Canada.
There are monthly, quarterly and annual Sports and Premium plans available in Canada. Monthly pricing starts at $26.99/month, while annual pricing takes it down to $19.25 for the Sports plan and $34.64 for the Premium plan.
Fubo can be streamed on nearly every major device, including Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, Android, LG, Samsung, and more.

So I guess we can look forward to at least two more price increases between that time. Can’t wait for EPL to make their own app and sell directly.
