King of the Hill Season 14 Hits Disney+ Canada in August

King of the hill hero.

The Hills are back. Disney+ Canada has confirmed that the long-awaited King of the Hill revival will premiere on Monday, August 4, 2025.

All 10 episodes of Season 14 will drop at once, streaming exclusively on Disney+ Canada. In the U.S., the series will be on Disney’s Hulu.

Originally announced in January 2023, the new season picks up years after the original show ended. Hank Hill and his wife Peggy return to Arlen, Texas, after working in Saudi Arabia to save for retirement. But things have changed back home. Their son Bobby is now in his 20s, pursuing his dream as a chef in Dallas and spending time with his old friends Connie, Joseph and Chane.

The animated series, set in fictional Arlen, originally ran for 13 seasons and more than 250 episodes. It followed propane salesman Hank Hill, his sharp-tongued wife Peggy, and their quirky son Bobby. Fans will recognize familiar faces like Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill, along with Minh and Nancy from the neighborhood.

Season 14 brings back voice actors Mike Judge (Hank), Kathy Najimy (Peggy), Pamela Adlon (Bobby), Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss.

The new episodes are produced by 20th Television Animation, with creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels returning as executive producers. Saladin Patterson joins as showrunner, alongside producers from 3 Arts and Bandera Entertainment.

The show originally aired on Fox from 1997 to 2010 and won an Emmy Award in 1999. As a fan of the original King of the Hill, it will be interesting to see how this will fare 28 years later since its first debut.

If the series ended in 2010, wouldn't it be 15 years later, not 28?

It’s 28 years since its debut in 1997, not since ending in 2010:

“28 years later since its first debut”

Yeah that's true. Just weird to say it that way: "Long time no see Gary! So interesting to see how much has changed since the time you were born!" lol More natural to say something like, "So interesting to see how much has changed since the last time I saw you."
