BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 Review: Portable Power You’ll Actually Use

I took the BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 to a kid’s birthday party this past weekend, and it turned out to be one of the most useful things there — right up there with cake.
At just 25 pounds and about the size of a small cooler (12.6×8.5×9.8 inches), the Elite 100 V2 was easy to carry from the car thanks to its hidden handle. Some other backup batteries are too heavy to carry one-handed, but it’s easily done with the Elite 100 V2. Once it was set down, it became the unofficial power hub for the afternoon. We plugged in a portable speaker for music, kept phones topped up, and even ran a small air fryer to make hot snacks without ever stepping inside (chicken fingers, wings and fries at the park? Let’s go!).
The Elite 100 V2 packs 1,800W of continuous output with up to 2,700W “lifting power” and a massive 1,024Wh LiFePO₄ battery rated for over 4,000 charge cycles — good for about a decade of regular use. There’s no shortage of connections either: six AC outlets, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports (including one 140W max), and multiple DC outputs including a car socket.
The best part was how quiet it ran. At only 30dB under light loads, you could barely tell it was on, even when powering the air fryer.
Charging it before the party was quick — BLUETTI’s AC TurboBoost had it at 80% in about 45 minutes. There’s also an option to pair it with a 200W solar panel, taking advantage of its 1,000W solar input and built-in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller for solar panel efficiency. Under ideal conditions, that setup can hit a full charge in about 70 minutes, making it perfect for camping or off-grid adventures.
By the end of the party, the Elite 100 V2 still had plenty of juice left, which makes me confident it’s more than capable for weekend trips, outdoor gatherings, or as a reliable UPS at home. It’s one of those gadgets you don’t think you need until you use it—and then you wonder how you ever managed without it.
There’s also some nice rubber feet at the bottom of the Elite 100 V2, so it can safely rest on any surface and stay sturdy and secure.
The only downside I can think of the lack of a wireless charging pad built into the top of the Elite 100 V2, which is a feature available on other higher end backup batteries from BLUETTI. But at this pricepoint, you can’t have it all it seems.
This Elite 100 V2 portable power station is currently on sale for $799 CAD (regular price $1,149 CAD). You can also use code NEWS5OFF for an extra 5% off sitewide. Click here to check out the BLUETTI Elite 100 V2.
