Google’s Gemini Canvas Can Now Generate Full Presentations For You

Google’s Gemini is getting new support for Canvas, enabling users to create full presentations. Using Gemini’s Canvas, users can work with the AI chatbot to generate slides using only prompts.
According to the company, Gemini Canvas can create full presentations using only “create a presentation” as a text prompt. These presentations can be used for anything like work, school, etc. To assist in the creation process, users can upload files to Gemini Canvas. These can be anything from documents to spreadsheets or research papers.
Gemini Canvas can also pull from non-specific sources if the users with. With prompts like “Upload any source to create a presentation on [insert topic].” The AI will then generate a series of slides for your deck based on non-specific sources. However, if you require specific sources to be used, you can upload them first and then ask Gemini to create the presentation using those files.
As the company explains, Gemini Canvas can then generate the presentation with accompanying images, themes, and text. From there, users can export the presentation from Gemini to Google Slides. As expected, these presentations can then be manually edited by the user to make adjustments to the slides if needed. Presentations can also be shared with others as well if its a collaborative effort.
Gemini Canvas was first launched in March of this year and has become an extension of Google’s AI platform. Canvas was originally used for sharing writing and code to Gemini, generating visuals of the prompts and inputs. Canvas can be used to help make web pages, apps, and more using these prompts.
