Google’s Nano Banana Pro Brings Studio-Grade AI Image Generation
Google DeepMind has just introduced Nano Banana Pro, its next-gen Gemini 3 Pro AI engine offering 4K image creation, rich text rendering, and real-world visual reasoning.

Built on the Gemini 3 Pro architecture, this enhanced tool gives users studio-quality visuals, stronger creative controls, and better text rendering.
The new model makes it easier than ever to bring complex design ideas to life. Users can prompt it to generate infographics, turn handwritten notes into clean diagrams, or create data-driven visuals with real-time information. Google highlights that Nano Banana Pro risks not just style, but substance, as it taps into Gemini’s reasoning ability and even uses Google Search’s knowledge to ground illustrations in current facts.
One of the most striking improvements is its ability to embed legible, clear text directly in generated images. Whether it is a long paragraph or a catchy tagline, the model supports multiple languages and a variety of fonts and textures. This makes it ideal for posters, multilingual campaigns, mockups and localized content.
When it comes to visual fidelity, Nano Banana Pro supports blending up to 14 images and maintaining strong character consistency for up to five people in a scene. This allows creators to merge sketches, concept art, and multiple input images into a unified, coherent composition.
Creative control is also improved. Users can adjust lighting, camera angles, focus, and color grading, and they can apply studio-grade effects like bokeh or shift the mood of a scene from day to night. The model supports high resolutions, including 2K and upscaled 4K output.
Google is making Nano Banana Pro available across several of its platforms. It can be tried via the Gemini app by choosing the “Create image” option under the “Thinking” model. Free-tier users will have a limited quota, while subscribers to Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra can access higher usage limits.

Every image generated with Nano Banana Pro carries a digital watermark using SynthID, allowing users to verify whether a picture was AI-generated. In the Gemini app, users can even upload an image and ask whether it was produced by Google AI.
For users under Google AI Ultra or in professional environments like Google AI Studio, Google gives the option to remove the visible watermark.
