YouTube Recap is Here: Your Most-Watched Videos of 2025

YouTube is rolling out a new end-of-year feature called Recap, giving users a full snapshot of everything they watched in 2025. It’s available now for users in North America and will reach the rest of the world later this week.
You can access your Recap right from the YouTube homepage or by opening the “You” tab on mobile or desktop. Once inside, YouTube shows up to 12 cards based on your watch history. These include your top channels, biggest interests, long rabbit-hole deep dives, and even how your viewing habits shifted over the year. One card assigns you a “viewer personality” based on the types of videos you spent the most time with.
If you listen to a lot of music on YouTube Music, your Recap will also include your top artists, songs, genres, podcasts, and a breakdown of your international listening. You can tap deeper into any of these categories inside the YouTube Music app.
YouTube admitted it got inspired by this feature when people such as MKBHD suggested last year.
YouTube says it built Recap after months of user testing and feedback, trying dozens of concepts before deciding on the final version. The feature highlights different personality categories they identified during development, such as the Adventurer, Creative Spirit, Skill Builder, and more.

According to YouTube, the most common viewer types this year were the Sunshiner, Wonder Seeker, and Connector, while the Philosopher and the Dreamer were among the rarest. Once your Recap is live, you can scroll through your cards, revisit your top moments of the year, and save or share the results with friends. What were your most-watched videos or creators this year?

Mine doesn't show anything. The "You" page just has the usual history, playlists, etc.
Same here
You need to press 'You' in your browser and at the top is Recap: a video with a very annoying music background. Nothing fancy.
