ZAGG invisibleSHIELD 20% OFF Coupon Code!

Hey boy and girls, we have a great deal coming your way from our friends at ZAGG! Now that they are shipping their new and improved design for their iPhone 3G invisibleSHIELD, they have updated the exclusive coupon code for iPhoneinCanada.ca readers! It’s been bumped up to 20% from 15%–good news for us!

If you haven’t heard of the invisibleSHIELD, read my iPhone 3G review and first gen iPhone review. Just a quick note that the coupon applies not only to the invisibleSHIELD but to your entire order. So if you’ve been waiting to get an invisibleSHIELD for your digital camera or notebook, this is the time to buy!

The invisibleSHIELD is only useful if you have the patience to install it properly. If you don’t have patience, you’re not going to enjoy this product (some people are very short tempered I’ve learned). In other words, stick to your silicone case! ;) Here are some tips on how to install your invisibleSHIELD. Check out my video tutorials here and here.

Sorry not familiar with the details. I would check with the company on specifics. It just seemed like a waste to not replace it if it is in fact only another 4 or 5 bucks.

I had an IS on my 3G for the first month. I guess it didn’t go on very well because there were streaks under the film that just wouldn’t go away and were highly noticeable against a light background. Plus the orange peel effect made my phone look cheap (But that’s just me). So I took it off and bought the front screen shield they sell at the Apple store – Power Support Crystal Film Set. Comes in Gloss or anti-glare and there are 2 front shields per set. There is no back shield but I’m not bothered. The biggest plus is that the gloss shield looks EXACTLY the same as the actual iPhone screen – which I like.

Just thought I’d share that inf because, like most of you, I really wanted to find the perfect (invisible) screen protector.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks to your review and tutorial I did a pretty awesome install. Great job!
So far no no peeling and no air bubbles. There just some dust at the edges, but you can’t avoid that.

For anyone wondering, it took 2 agonizing weeks from the day I got order confirmation to the day I received it on my doorstep.

Hi – i read your post about getting the invisible shiels for your iphone from zagg. I was thinking of doing the same but i don’t know whether i’ll be hit with fees when they ship at across the border (e.g. duties, customs brokerage fees, etc). Would u mind letting me know how it went for you in terms of any fees above and beyond what you paid to zagg when you ordered? Thanks.
