Apple Confirms September 9 iPod Event

by Mr. Ex on August 31st, 2009

Early Monday morning, Apple has officially confirmed the date for their annual iPod Event to be Wednesday September 9 2009.

The keynote will go live at 10:00AM PST (1PM EST) from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

The event this year is expected to introduce:

  • New iPod Touch and iPod Nano models with increased capacities and built-in cameras
  • New iTunes 9 with social networking features, visual organization of applications and Blu-Ray support
  • Possible iPhone/iPod Firmware version 3.1

As originally rumoured, the coveted Apple Tablet will not be making an appearance.

I wonder if our Father, Steve, will show up?
