Update: iOS 5 beta 4 can be installed over the air, as a delta update, at 133 MB. Go to Settings and Software Update. Let us know how it goes, as it’ll work over 3G and WiFi.

You have to have at least 50% battery power on your device or be connected to a power source. Otherwise the process was simple and straight forward. Â Worked fine. Â Don’t see any changes to the phone yet.

Photos do get wiped but they get put back on with a tethered sync to the new iTunes. Â Not perfect if you have to do a wired sync after you do a wireless update. Â Songs and videos stay on the phone. Â Just the pictures got erased. Â Photo Roll and Photo Stream pictures did stay on the phone though.

Some pics from camera roll got erased, but they were restored by photo stream.
