Greenpois0n Update Coming Very Soon?

There is some potentially good news for those waiting for the latest jailbreaking tools update.

Earlier this evening, @p0sixninja tweeted the following lucrative update:

Updated version of greenpois0n coming whenever I finish adding these new sandbox patches, sorry this has taken so long

This is good news for jailbreakers, as for those of us that are still on iOS 4.1, or anything before iOS 4.2.1, may finally have a reliable untethered jailbreak!

It has taken a while for the jailbreak to be released mostly because @p0isxninja has been looking to create a permanent untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1.

With this latest update, users of the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPad, iPod Touch 4G, and iPod Touch 3G may have their iOS 4.2.1 jailbreaking solution!

First off I love your blog but I am an not that bright when it comes to technology. I rely on my husband for a lot of this stuff. I have an Iphone 3 and just wondering what the good of having a jailbreak done to it?

Phreeeee APPS(Ones that cost money)!!! (Installous) and you can customize your phone the way you want it. For example. i love having my calendar entries on my lockscreen rather than unlocking phone and going to my calendar.

I like it for customizing my phone to make it my own. Lockscreen, app icons, widgets, fonts, and many more all changed so that it looks unique and nothing like any other iPhone out there.

Then you have apps like MyWi which sets up a WiFi Hotspot. And My3G which allows stuff such as FaceTime over 3G, and YouTube HQ vids…. Plus many many more.

And as you have an iPhone 3G, you do not have stuff such as Multitasking, Battery Percentage, and Home Screen Wallpaper. Jailbreaking your phone allows these things on your 3G.

Connie, Google “iPhone Jailbreak”. By the way, lets not kid ourselves. The real reason why the majority of people JailBreak their iPhone is to get appstore apps for free (piracy).
