Get Rid of Your Current iPhone’s Headphone Jack with ‘Apple Plug’

Don’t want to spend a fortune on the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus to become a proud owner of a headphone jack-free iPhone? Enter ‘Apple Plug’, a headphone connector without the headphones. You plug it into your iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, or even the older 6 and 6 Plus models, and you will lose the headphone jack. It’s that simple. Your old iPhone will be one step closer to the iPhone 7, and you will also be able to use the new Lightning EarPods (via Mashable).

“Fill in your archaic headphone connector with beautiful aluminium and plug yourself into the future,” the Plug’s site says, claiming the aluminium Plug is light, waterproof and affordable. If you’re still wondering what it’s all about, of course the Plug is a joke 🙂 Nicer, the dev and design studio that built the mock-up page for the product, admits so at the bottom of the page

Don’t need this expensive accessory. My headphone jack is filled with pocket lint at a much lower price!

I really don’t get all the freak out of the iPhone not having a headphone jack…. I mean a dongle isn’t great but it does add length to your wiring. I do thing phil calling it courage was ridiculous but I don’t think it was a bad idea considering that it was a major ingress point for water I think it’s a solid trade off instead of one of those rubber things u see on Samsung phones that break off

I think if this is going to be a forward looks my idea apple needs to make lighting a standard for all platforms then it can be pushed forward as the next replacement for 3.5
