Google Debuts ‘Cameos’ Video Q&A App for Celebs and Public Figures

Google has today launched a new video-based Q&A app called ‘Cameos’, aimed primarily at celebrities and other public figures, allowing them to answer questions about themselves and then share those answers directly on Google (via TechCrunch). Using the new app, celebrities can answer their fans’ questions in their own voice using video posts.

Available as a free download on the App Store, the Cameos app also lets celebs see the top questions the internet wants answers to, so they can pick and choose which of those they want to answer. Their answers, recorded with their iPhone’s camera, will be published directly to Google search and in the Google app.
