Review: Flick case by Contourcase.com

Hey all!

Before we begin, congratulations to Claudio and Andrew S. for being the chosen winners of the Quattro Cases!

Today’s post will be a case review of the Contour Case Flick for the iPhone 3G.

Flick by Contourcase.com

The Flick case features a polycarbonate enclosure that completely encompasses the back half of the iPhone 3G, leaving the display and entire front open for easy use. The case allows full access to the touch screen, large cut-outs for easy access to the iPhone’s controls, and the thick polycarbonate shell for extra protection.

Overall, I am quite happy with it. After the phone is in the case (you just lightly push your iPhone in…fits like a glove) you quickly notice how nice the case feels in your palm. In actual fact, it feels exactly like the existing backing of the iPhone 3G! So, as I said earlier, you have full access to the touch screen and all controls, as well as a cut-out for the camera. However, this means that if you were to drop the iPhone in this case, the back side would likely be okay…but the front…well, not so much (that’s where something like the Invisible Shield comes into play!). Aside from that though, the case is also dockable which is accessed through a rubber hinge that provides easy access to the dock connector.

This Flick case is available for $34.95 from Contourcase.com….

but……..

…..The Flick case will be given away today!

To win, send me a picture with your iPhone in an interesting pose. I leave the definition of interesting completely up to you but the more interesting… the better your chances! The contest will end on Wednesday December 24, 2008 at 11:59pm PST.

Enjoy!
