Day 6 Anniversary Giveaway: 1Password, Things, OmniFocus
Most people are happy today because it’s the weekend! Anyways, today is Day 6 of our $2000 Blog Anniversary Giveaway and I hope everyone is still excited with all the freebies I have been giving away. Today we are going to focus on giving away copies of one of my favorite programs for my Mac, such as 1Password x 2 ($39.95; made in Canada BTW!). Two other amazing GTD (Get Things Done) programs being given away are Things ($49) and OmniFocus ($79). All three have iPhone apps too which makes them even better.
1Password is more than just a password manager, but it’s basically one giant digital vault on your computer. It makes remembering passwords a thing of a past and its seamless integration with all internet browsers make it a joy to use.

Now that I don’t have to focus on remembering passwords in my head, one license of Things and OmniFocus will be given away.

These are two of the best GTD programs out there for Mac and you can get a single user license for FREE from iPhoneinCanada.ca! How cool is that? 🙂

1Password for iPhone Fan because… I just signed up for my 3567th Web 2.0 site and I need a way to keep track of all the unique 25 character passwords.
1Password for Chris because… I can only remember one password so I have to use the same one on all of the hundreds of sites I belong too and now I’m worried that the neighbour’s kid knows what it is.
1Password. Why? I already use it and love it! Would like to make someone else happy with it.
1password for Subzero so I can keep all my passwords in one place 🙂
Things for Cliff Mcc because…well frankly, because I already own the other two. I like OmniFocus, but I’ve always wanted to try Things. It’s pretty hard to justify buying another GTD app when I already own one though.
1Password for Tim because I’m blonde and I need as much help remembering things as humanly possible 😀
Congrats to the winners from yesterday contest!
Well done Gary, keep up the good work!
Things for Paul because I have 3 days left on my trial, it rocks, and I’ve already purchased the iPhone app. I’m hitting refresh daily on their storefront waiting for the exchange rate to move in my favour, and if I win I won’t have to admit how cheap I am for not buying it earlier in the week (except I guess I’m admitting it here to the world) – Hellllp!
Thanks for picking me as a winner! Appreciate it.. 🙂
I think all the above are for Mac.. so if I win again I’ll give this away to a reader in my blog! 🙂
I would love 1password! It seems so useful.
Yes please would love it
I would like to have the password to get OMNIFOCUS to help me to be better in my work. to have better organisation because all my friends tell me that I need to be more organized. I lot a very important job in december because of that.
If I am a better person, I will thank you for this and give you a prayer from my heart the day I win
Things (or Omni Focus) for Trent Fehr because I’m crap at getting things done, and because I could use an organizational helper. If I were better organized I could spend more time on iphoneincanada.ca, and less time begging my wife for forgiveness for dropping my kid off at the dry cleaner and our laundry off at the babysitter. Clearly, I need organizational help!
1Password for Mark…PLEASE. Why? Because it’s polite to say please when asking for really cool swag.
1password for lukasz cuz I can’t remember any!! I forgot my forum password for like the 100th time!! Gotta make a new account now-LOL 😛
Things for Shaun because I’m a paramedic, ambulance dispatcher, father, husband, the list goes on….. and I need some help keeping everything in order!
Things or OmniFocus…. whats the difference?
Things for Sheldon please, because you care
1Password for Lori, pretty please!! Why? Because I’m a girl and can say pretty before please, unlike my husband. That would be so very wrong!
Things for me please, because…. wait… what was I supposed to do just now?
oh yeah, I already have 1Password, and if you don’t already have it and don’t win a copy, JUST GO GET IT – it’s a must-have – and they have a free iPhone app that syncs with the desktop app.
Looks like they’re all for Mac…I’m a PC-girl.
Thanks anyway and good luck to everyone!
PS. I highly recommend Things – I just bought it on my iPhone and it’s amazing! Simple, tidy, straightforward…the best on-the-go organizer out there! 🙂
1Password for paulbel, please, because WebConfidential doesn’t have an iPhone app and my Su9ers3cr1tp4ssw0rds um, 5up3r53cretPa55Words, damn, SoopirS3Kr1Tp1ssw0rts….cripes, 2per3kret_passwarts (huzzah!) are so hard to keep track of.
Things for thraxisp because… I keep forgetting to do things…
Things for Stef because this could well prevent my tragic end at the hands of my girlfriend… since I’ll finally really be Getting Things Done!!! Please “Ob-iPhonefan Kenobi”, you’re my only hope! 😉
OmniFocus for me ’cause, I’m a scatterbrain and it’s my only hope!
things for Steve Jobs because it will help him to Get Things Done: let’s have MMS, copy & paste and all those other cellphone standards on the iPhone already!
Things for Steve Jobs because…
I need somthing to tell me to get back to work, so I will stop procrastinating, and entering contests, on the internet.
Things for Sunny because I have trouble remembering things -.-
Omnifocus would be the right fit for me.
1Password for me because I can never remember all my passwords and this will help me with my memory.
thanks
1password for lyxus because {insert_whatever} L-P
1 password because I forget all the different passwords I have. I LOVE YOUR SITE
Things for Steve Jobs because…Well, he needs to prioritize his life now that he’s on his leave! (And me also, to prioritize mine!)
1Password for (mack) because I have already been using Things (both desktop and iphone) for task management. All I need to a password manager.
I have been using Things since October. This is the *one* application I can’t live without. I’ve tried Omnifocus and really don’t get the hang of it. I’ve research quite a bit on GTD applications before settling on Things. From what I gather, you really need to be a hardcore GTD follower to appreciate Omnifocus. Give things a try, it’s worth it.
1Password for Matt Freedman because I’m tired of forgetting the same passwords over and over again, just to remember them after I’ve reset them with a new password, which leads to an infinite circle.
I added your rss feed very cool site.
I would’ve entered, but I don’t have a Mac 🙁
Things for CD because I have yet to find an app that CAN keep me organized. Everything I’ve tried to-date makes me want an app to keep me on top of my organization/to-do app! This one sounds like it really works. If it can keep me organized, then I should be the poster child for Things!
Things because my life is akin to The Scrambler carnival ride, with tasks and ideas flying all over the place. Those lines of code that make up Things will shepard all my activity into a straight line and focus me like a laser beam for good of the planet.
Things for Cameron because I keep forgetting to enter these contests. It’s bad enough that I almost forget to enter the contest today to win the prize to keep me from forgetting things!
Omnifocus for Marko55 please….
Why? Because I’m disorganized…I need help…and (clearing my throat and doing my best Howard Beale impersonation – “The Network”) “I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!”….*cough*
woohoo, I’m Thingified! Thanks Gary.
Things for blub because I need my life to get better organized and the coupon is not working anymore. (I hope I am not too late…. )
Thank you.
thanks for this post, i will try it! let me know if you have anything on this addin/plugin that i use for outlook, Outlook Track-It. it’s a great GTD toolbar that flags emails so you can follow up. It’s the best so far.
I’m facing early senility and OmniFocus will remind what I need to do next= essential as tweets imploring acts multiply like bacteria.
1Password for Chris because… I can only remember one password so I have to use the same one on all of the hundreds of sites I belong too and now I’m worried that the neighbour’s kid knows what it is.
