Microsoft has added four new titles to Xbox's ever-expanding "Stream your own games library" for Xbox Cloud Gaming including Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Fido Lowers Price Of Entry Level CityFido Plan
Prospective mobile phone customers considering Fido for service may be interested to know that the company has reduced their entry level CityFido plan by $5.00. This brings the plan to $40 (was $45) and retains the same features as before.
CityFido $40 (was $45)
- Minutes: 2,000 anytime minutes
- Text Messages: Unlimited incoming and outgoing text messages
- Features: Call waiting and Conference call included, Per-second billing, No System Access Fees
- Available Zones: Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, London, Toronto, Ottawa/Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec
To qualify for the plan, new customers must sign a 2 or 3-year Fido agreement.
Existing customers who activated on the original $45 2000 minute CityFido plan on or after November 3, 2009 will have the new $5.00 price decrease change automatically on their next bill cycle.
Customers who activated on the original $45 2000 minute CityFido plan before November 3, 2009 or that did not have their $45 2000 minute CityFido plan decrease by $5.00 by their next bill cycle, should contact Fido.

If fido were to bring back the old city fido plan
for 45-50 I would go with them in a heartbeat
rather than wind cus tere more reliable network
even though it is Rogers but less chance of
dropped calls and has better coverage
Fido raised their price for the base City Fido Plan a couple of months ago; likely when they thought that Wind was a nonstarter. This is just one example of how competition is improving the lot of consumers in Canada. It will be more interesting to see what Rogers, Fido, et al do in response to the unlimited data plans introduced by Wind. I suspect they won't respond in kind until Wind is more widespread across Canada and has a more reliable network. Nevertheless, I do expect to see unlimited data plans offered by all 4 major carriers (5 if we count “Dave”) by then end of 2011. Here's hoping anyway.
