Apple Reveals App Store Search Results to Include More Ads in 2026
In 2026, Apple is refreshing how ads appear on the App Store with new top banner ads and more running on search results.
myStarbucks Canada iPhone App Released
Starbucks has released an official iPhone app for Canadians. The app is called myStarbucks Canada and includes extensive information on coffee beverages, snacks, and food. It also locates all the locations near your location and includes key info like store hours, address, phone number, etc.

Finally the official Canadian iPhone application from Starbucks! Want to find a store that’s open, with a drive through? Now you can do that and more with myStarbucks. Explore our whole bean coffees, find delicious foods and nutrition information, and build your own perfect drinks. Want to share? You can send your drinks to friends by email, SMS, via Facebook and Twitter directly to their iPhone or iPod ®Touch.

• Store Locator: Display the closest stores, directions, store hours and amenities—find stores with a drive through, oven warmed food and more! Share your location using Facebook and Twitter.
• Drink Builder: Create and share your perfect Starbucks ® beverages

What I would’ve liked to have seen was the ability to check your Starbucks card balance, or even pay for purchases right from your iPhone. The app did crash a couple times on my 3GS and froze on my 3G. For a Starbucks lover like myself, this app is fun to use. You can setup your hot/cold drinks and share them with friends.
As you can see, downtown Vancouver has an abundance of locations (almost overkill lol):

this app sucks.. its NO DIFFERENT than the other starbucks type apps that are in the app store already.. the MyStarbucks app in the states lets you load your starbucks card right onto the app, and pay USING your iPhone (with a bar code) but for whatever reason starbucks canada didn't see a need for us to have that option… lame..
Yeah…the only thing is this is an official app from Starbucks Canada.

One way to get involve with your customers is to improve the ordering process and make the word convenience be a household name.
I was standing in front of Starbucks in Kingston Ontario and when I used this app it couldn’t find the store. Typical..!!
