Zapd: Create Beautiful Websites from your iPhone

Zapd is a relatively new app that allows you to share your pictures via easily customizable website templates. We’ve seen photo sharing apps like Instagram but Zapd makes it easy and fun to create awesome looking sites to send to friends and family for special occasions. Each “site” gets its own unique web address.

I tried out Zapd and it’s pretty cool. There a variety of templates that are dead easy to customize. Combined with a fun app like Camera+, Zapd will let you make some nice looking looking websites that will impress your friends.

Here are the features:

– Create as many Zaps as you like for free
– Apply over a dozen themes that change the website’s colors, fonts and layout
– Take and choose photos directly in the app
– Write text and place it where you want on the web page
– Provide links to other websites on your Zap website
– Reorder any of your elements before you publish
– Preview your Zap right in the app before publishing or sharing it
– Include your personal profile or company logo on your Zap website (optional)
– Change the theme at anytime, even after you have published and shared it
– Edit your Zap from your phone, tablet, and computer
– Share your Zaps via Facebook, Twitter and email
– Receive a unique, short url for your Zap

Here’s an example I whipped up in literally “less than 60 seconds” as the developers have promised. Here’s the iPhone view:

Zapd is free in the App Store, and definitely worthy to stay on my iPhone. Let me know how you like it!
