White ‘iPhone 4S’ Appears in AT&T System Inventory?

Could an ‘iPhone 4S’ be coming our way in white? Engadget reports a tipster informed them of an ‘iPhone 4s White’ appearing in AT&T’s system inventory.

A helpful tipster sent us this tasty morsel, from AT&T’s internal system, listing the “iPhone 4s White” beneath a handful of already familiar Apple handsets.

We’ve previously heard about a cheaper ‘iPhone 4S’ model, also known as the N94 prototype that apparently received its FCC ID. Early reports in May stated an an ‘iPhone 4S’ would debut as an upgrade to the iPhone 4 with the A5 chip and better camera, along recent ‘4S’ casing leaks and the antenna band, too.

This is clearly fake because there’s an iPhone 3G in there. No 3GS? That makes no sense.

Even then, AT&T doesn’t sell 3G’s anymore.

And for good reason. Who uses the iPhone 3G anymore?! HELLO PEOPLE, released in 2008!

That’s different. As an audio device, it’s solid.
But as a primary phone/device, big no-no

The iPhone 3G is too ‘old’ to be relevant now.

Agreed. There is no excuse to still be using an iPhone 3G. People have many options to purchase, at the very least, an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4.
